SnowLand - Book One - Magic of a Dream
Elise is an orphan that is seeking to belong to a family. Not knowing that she already has one. Although this family is in a dimension parallel to Earth. Searching for a reason to her existence… her mysterious dreams are vivid and real, she knows her destiny and purpose is calling her, but to where? Elise feels all mixed up between her earthly emotions and her magic that she doesn't understand. She knows her past and her fate are on a collision course, if she could just find some answers.
In the parallel dimension there is also a conflict going on between two sisters.
Ireica, the younger sister, marries Zaderack and has a child. Azera, the older sister struggles with her jealousy from also having been in love with Zaderack, soon turns herself into a witch. The king of Snowland dies just after the birth of his granddaughter In a twist of vengeance the baby is stolen and striped of her magic, and thrown down to Earth during the earthquake of 1906. The child is raised as a human in an orphanage and doesn't know she has magic until the spell begins to wear off fifteen years later.
A dangerous treasure leads Elise to the magical world known as Snowland, which feels familiar. She befriends a snow fairy, Crystalina and meets Lailoen, a frost sprite who is also Elise’s soul-match.
Everything was blurred-- sounds, images, feelings; Elise was floating amid them all. She wasn’t sure if she was actually with them or somehow hearing them across the dimensions from Earth.
Could she possibly be back in Snowland? It was worlds away from her home in Scotland. Surely she was dreaming, or lost in memories. She was with her grandmother in Scotland and it was Christmas morning. Wasn’t it?
Snowland had haunted her like an intense dream that lingers all day, since returning to her grandmother’s . She had begun to wonder which was her true home– Snowland or Scotland.
Then a horrifying thought struck: what if she was suspended somewhere between Snowland and Scotland? She knew that she wasn’t in the Time Shell, she was floating, and everything around her was hazy. What if she couldn’t reach Snowland, but couldn’t get back to Scotland? Where was she?
’Please . . .don’t let me drift between worlds,” she prayed aloud, hoping someone could hear her, “let me wake up, in one world, or the other.”
Her journey expands over four books.... The journey of one child searching to find out who she really is.
